Placement

The Placement Department of Assam Downtown University looks after the campus placement of the graduating students. STudents get employment opportunities through campus recruitments, pooled campus and off-campus recruitments. Industries, organizations and institutes of different sectors matching the different academic levels of students are communicated and invited for the campus recruitment drive.The department has excellent infrastructure to support every stage of the placement process. Arrangement for Pre-Placement Talks, Mock Interviews, Group Discussions, etc are all handled by the staff at the office. The overall highest package offered during Assam Down Town University placements in the recent past stood at INR 12 LPA. Further, the overall placement rate recorded in the recent past was 94.5%. Further, as per the overall NIRF report 2024 released by the University, the median package offered during UG 3-year and UG 4-year placements 2023 stood at INR 2.6 LPA and INR 2.93 LPA, respectively. Moreover, the median package offered during PG 2-year placements 2023 stood at INR 3.20 LPA.
