Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Viswavidyalaya (BSSRV)

The Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya Act 2020 created Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya by the Assamese government. The institution has named Prof. Jyoti Prasad Saikia as its first vice-chancellor. The institution hopes to implement the goals outlined in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 by providing these courses. The institution allocates 60% of its resources to research activities to fulfill its goal of being research-centric, with academic endeavors making up the other 40%. This will significantly contribute to the achievement of the university's policy manifesto goals, which align with NEP 2020's aims.

BSSRV Examination

The BSSRV's odd semester examinations often start in December or January, and the even semester exams typically start in June.

Academic Session

Even semester classes typically start the first week of February. Odd Semester Classes start in July/August. The BSSRV conducts semester examinations in the months of May and November for even and odd semesters respectively.
