Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya

In 1930, Srimanta Sankaradeva Sangha was established to continue the saint's changes. It is the biggest non-governmental organisation in Northeast India and has been actively promoting the ideals of Srimanta Sankaradeva among the general public. To promote value-based education throughout the state, it is in charge of many schools.

The Sangha permitted the Srimanta Sankaradeva Education and Socio-Economic Development Trust, Nagaon, to support the university's founding when it saw fit. By the Assam Private Universities Act of 2007, the Sangha proposed the formation of the university to the Assam government. 'The Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya Act, 2013' was enacted by the Assam Legislative Assembly. The Hon'ble Governor of Assam granted the Act of the Assam Legislative Assembly (Assam Act No. XIX of 2013) his assent via No. LGL.59/2013/16, and it was published in the Assam Gazette No. 351 on August 14, 2013.

MSSV Admission

When choosing students for its undergraduate and graduate programs, MSSV University will consider a merit list; however, for PhD admission, it will administer the Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya Research Admission Test (MSSVRAT). MSSV Research

A new academic department, the Department of Sankaradeva Studies was established to produce high-caliber research works on the life, works, contributions, and philosophy of Saint Sankaradeva. On January 1, 2021, the University Journal's first print edition was made available.The procedure for the journal's application to be listed on the UGC Care List has also been completed.On the same day, 34 sporadic publications covering a variety of topics were published by university academic members.

Generally, Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya commences academic session in August.

MSSV Examinations

The MSSV Exams for the semester are typically administered in July for even semesters, and in February for odd semesters.
