Royal Global University - RGU

Royal Global University (RGU) is the fifth private university of Assam. The Royal Global University, under the Umbrella of Royal Group of Institutions has been established by The Assam Royal Global University Bill, passed by the Assam Legislative Assembly and the same has been assented by the Honorable Governor of Assam. The Assam Royal Global University Act,2013 has been notified by the Government in the Assam Gazette. The RGU Campus is more than 27 acres of land and about 12 lakh square feet built up centrally air-conditioned area available for running various courses of Royal Global University (RGU).

The University is located against the picturesque backdrop of Tirupati Balaji Temple on National Highway 37.

Royal Global University (RGU) Application Process

Candidates are required to fill in the online Application Form. Duly filled in application form must be submitted to the office of the university along with the following documents:

  1. 4nos of passport size photographs (size 3.5 cm x 4.5cm).
  2. Marksheetsfrom Class X onward (as applicable).
  3. Photocopy of Age Proof.
  4. Photocopy of Admit card/ Score card of qualifying exam.
  5. Valid personal e-mail ID and contact number in the application form.
  6. Application fee of Rs. 1000/- by Demand Draft.

Note: for online submission of photograph/marksheet etc., please use scanned copy in jpg/gif/png/jpeg/bmp format.

No Incomplete application form will be accepted. It is compulsory to submit all the supporting documents mentioned above. However, submission of Application Form does not qualify a candidate to appear for the selection process or admission to any program.

The duly filled in Application Form together with no. of photograph & a DD of Rs. 1000/- in favor of “The Assam Royal Global University”, payable at Guwahati (in case of downloaded form) should be submitted to the campus.

Royal Global University (RGU) Admission Process

The submitted application form is normally processed within 5(five) days of being received by the University. Candidates who qualify all the eligibility criteria will be informed about the date, time and venue of Admission Process (written test and/or Group Discussion and/or Interview, as required).

If a candidate applies for more than two courses, then he/she needs to apply through separate application forms and has to go through same submission and selection process as mentioned above. Candidates can only appear for the selection process of one program on a particular date.

The selected candidates are further sent a provisional admission offer letter having details of the payment of fee. The Provisional Admission Offer letter is valid only for the current academic session and for selected program only.

In case,the Academic committee recommends a candidate for a different course or program other than the course opted by the candidate, a mail will be sent to the candidate in his/her mail id seeking his/her consent for the same. After receiving the consent, the selection letter will be sent to the candidate.

The offer of admission will automatically stand cancelled if the conditions,for example, failure to pay the fee or reporting for the classes etc., are not fulfilled within stipulated time.
