The Tezpur University (TU) conducts All India Entrance Examination for admission to Master of Computer Application (MCA) programme. College graduates and those appearing in the final year of qualifying examination can write this test. Course offered through Department of Computer Science and total number of seats available are 45. The university started MCA programme first in 1994

Tezpur University MCA Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria

A bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline
At least 50% marks in Major/Honours subject or 55% marks in aggregate for those candidates having no major/honours, or 55% marks in aggregate in BCA
Having passed in Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level.

Tezpur University MCA Admission Process

The selection for admission to the programme will be based on an All India level Open Entrance Test to be conducted by the University.
The questions will be multiple choice type.
The test is of two hours duration and consists of three components:

Logical reasoning
Mathematics of 10+2 level and Computer Science (basic level)
English Comprehension
